On March 10th, RECON and Region Builders partnered to host an event focusing on the game-changing Permit Simplicity program. A packed audience of industry leaders and elected officials participated in an event highlighting the program.

On March 6th Social Venture Partners of Sacramento held their 1st annual SVP Fast Pitch. The event took place at UOP McGeorge. Ten nonprofits, all with an educational component to their programming, took the stage to present their 3-minute pitch on impact, innovation, and what they need to take their work to the next level of regional impact.

On Feb. 25, New Helvetia Brewing Co. on Broadway hosted a fundraiser for Bright Underbelly — a 70,000-foot public mural that will coat the W/X freeway underpass in color.

On January 30th, more than 900 local business and community leaders attended the Sacramento Metro Chamber’s 120th Annual Awards and Installation Dinner.

On January 23, the Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber celebrated local businesses and leaders at the 22nd Annual Installation and Business Awards.

On January 16, the Northstate BIA kicked off 2015 with their members and partners. 

On December 11, the Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the Sacramento Black Chamber of Commerce once again merged to host their annual Alliance Mixer. 

The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) hosted their annual holiday party at The Mix Downtown on December 9, 2014.

Hundreds of guests gathered at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on Thursday, November 20 for the 2014 Developer Showcase. The Association of Commercial Real Estate (ACRE) and Commercial Real Estate Development Association of Sacramento (NAIOP) co-hosted the annual event.

On November 14-16, aspiring women entrepreneurs filled The Urban Hive to create businesses in 54 hours at Sacramento’s first women’s hackathon.
