Sacramento Habitat for Humanity held its annual Hard Hats and High Heels Gala fundraising event on April 9. The event featured a 5-course farm-to-fork wine dinner and a live auction led by David Sobon.

On March 6th Social Venture Partners of Sacramento held their 1st annual SVP Fast Pitch. The event took place at UOP McGeorge. Ten nonprofits, all with an educational component to their programming, took the stage to present their 3-minute pitch on impact, innovation, and what they need to take their work to the next level of regional impact.

On Feb. 25, New Helvetia Brewing Co. on Broadway hosted a fundraiser for Bright Underbelly — a 70,000-foot public mural that will coat the W/X freeway underpass in color.
