The Sacramento LGBT Community Center held the 2015 Pride Awards on August 18 to celebrate successes and recognize acts of leadership and everyday heroism that make a difference in the LGBT community. The evening reception included an awards presentation emceed by Rob Stewart from Rob on the Road, hosted appetizers and entertainment featuring Supervisor Phil Serna’s band “UnSupervised.”
Proceeds from the event are going towards helping the Sacramento LGBT Community Center change lives every day by creating events, programs, and pathways to services that help lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people feel welcome, needed and safe.
