The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 2016 Students of the Year Finale took place at Niello Mini with more than 200 people attending. The total campaign included 10 student pairs, representing eight local high schools and more than $260,000 was raised for LLS.

The Sacramento Economic Forum was held at the Sacramento Convention Center on May 13, 2016 and featured a keynote address by Sacramento native and President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, Dr. John C. Williams. The event also featured a panel discussion focused on the economic challenges, opportunities and trends impacting and influencing the Sacramento region.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento’s 3rd Annual Hard Hats and High Heels Gala was held on April 21 at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center. The night included food, drink and a live auction to support building homes for families in need int he Sacramento and Yolo communities.

The Construction Financial Management Association held its 5th annual dinner and awards at Arden Hills Club and Spa on April 21.

The 29th Annual Wine and Food Fest, benefiting Make-A-Wish, hosted more than 1,200 guests at the Sacramento Convention Center on April 23. More than 100 restaurants, wineries breweries and other fine spirit establishments provided tastings.

On April 23, 950 men participated in WEAVE’s Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event raising awareness and more than $315,000 to support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and sex trafficking. 

Team4Tomorrows, a fundraising campaign for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, hosted a 1920s swingin’ soirée at ASR Restaurant & Lounge, where all proceeds went to fund and find a cure for blood cancer.

Miles Treaster & Associates (MTA) celebrated their new location on 13th & R with an open house on April 28. Over 300 clients, local architects, designers and other industry representatives enjoyed a beautiful Sacramento evening. MTA’s mission is to create inspired spaces that increase employee communication, attraction and retention.

The Power Inn Alliance held their 23rd annual luncheon on March 24, honoring a coalition of over 1,300 businesses and property owners in the Power Inn area of Sacramento, California. The Alliance advocates for business, transportation and community through advocacy, beautification and networking.
