Entrepreneur’s Edge was held February 18, at the Sutter Club. Guests enjoyed multiple, interactive, round-table conversations between attendees and Sacramento area Women Business Owners, across multiple professions and areas of expertise. 

The 2016 MLK Celebration Event at the Sheraton Grand Hotel Sacramento was held on February 6, 2016, and was enjoyed by more than 540 attendees. Keynote speakers Judy and Dennis Shepard, cofounders of the Matthew Shepard Foundation. The MLK Committee recognized an outstanding Sacramento Citizen, Chet P. Hewitt, CEO of the Sierra Health Foundation, with the 2016 Robert T Matsui Community Service Award. 

The Sacramento Metro Chamber held their Board and Member Mixer on Feburary 2 at CBRE.  The quarterly event was held for attendees to expand their networks and strengthen relationships with other business, government and community leaders.

The Sacramento Metro Chamber held their 121st Annual Dinner & Business Awards at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento on January 29. It is the Sacramento Metro Chamber’s longest running event. The celebration included distinguished honors and awards including Sacramentan of the Year, Businessman and Businesswoman of the Year and the Business Hall of Fame Awards.

Local executives and professionals from the commercial real estate and AEC industries enjoyed a pre-opening sneak peak of the new RailBridge Cellars & Company in the historic Elks Tower at the RECON Nexus Mixer on January 29.

Blue Heart International held their 2nd Annual Snowflake Ball on Jan. 23, at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium. Guests enjoyed great food, drinks, a local celebrity lip sync, and live auction by David Sobon. 

The 23rd Annual CASA Crab Feed was held on January 16. Guests brought their boots, chaps and cowboy hats and joined in supporting Sacramento’s foster youth at the “Wild West” themed event. 

A sold-out audience of approximately 700 business and community leaders attended the 2016 State of Downtown breakfast on January 12, 2016 at the Memorial Auditorium.
