National Philanthropy Day, originally commemorated in 1986, pays tribute to Americans for their generous support of the nonprofit community. Sacramento’s twenty-eighth annual National Philanthropy Day celebration is an opportunity to honor local individuals, corporations, and organizations in the greater Sacramento area who give their time, talent, and resources for the betterment of our community.

On Wednesday, November 13, we will celebrate and honor the philanthropic contributions of individuals, organizations and businesses – those who are changing the world with their giving hearts.
