HATCH: Dance Works in Progress

Presented by Crocker Art Museum

Back Event Apr 28, 2016 @ 6 pm

Like a progressive dinner, this unique dance program will serve each dance course up within a different environment at the Museum. Full of wonderment and surprise, this fifth rendition of HATCH is an inspired interplay between the built environment and kinesthetic sensibility.

Developed by Lorelei Bayne, vice chair and dance coordinator in the department of theater and dance at Sacramento State, HATCH presents a variety of original performances by both established and emerging choreographers.

This year’s program will feature works inspired by the exhibition “Andy Warhol: Portraits.” Follow the dancers as they move from space to space within the Museum, and stay for an interactive Q&A with the dancers and choreographers.
