The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional festival celebrated by many East and Southeast Asian communities. It is the second-most important holiday after the Lunar New Year for many. In partnership with the Sacramento Regional Transit, CAAPS will be bringing this cultural experience to the community of South Sacramento (District 8) and the surrounding Sacramento Region.

The Autumn Lantern Festival will celebrate many Asian Cultures through, Food, Music, and Art (visual and performance). This family-friendly event will be free to the public and aims to provide a fun-filled day in the heart of South Sacramento. Entertainment will include cultural dances, music, various performances, and lantern experiences. There will be a designated area for food, drinks, and activities for the whole family to enjoy.
