From Monk’s Cellar to Mikuni to Hard Rock Casino, Rocklin-based Big Green IT has been helping the area’s businesses harness secure technology resources for over 10 years.
Utilizing the cloud platform from Microsoft, including Teams, Azure and Microsoft 365, Big Green IT helps everyone from small businesses to mid-sized enterprises realize their own cloud journey. The biggest threat businesses face is security and moving to the Microsoft cloud can be very beneficial, says CEO Jeff Rogers.
“With the proper cloud deployment, you have increased efficiency, scalability, accessibility and security,” he says. The Big Green IT approach is tailored to each client, not a “one-size-fits-all” business model, sometimes providing free guidance and services for smaller local companies.
“The Sacramento region is my hometown, this is my backyard. As a business owner, I want to provide ‘boutique’ IT services that can be helpful to small businesses as well as our enterprise clients,” Rogers says.
And it’s not just services Big Green IT helps with — they’re also deeply involved in community philanthropy. Most recently, the company donated 20 Chromebooks and services to the Boys and Girls Club of Placer County and Roseville Community School. The company also participates in fundraising for the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation and every year, the company helps gather items for local food drives as well as the Christmas Toy Drive for Placer County children.
“Our clients feel confident knowing that they have a modern infrastructure with an ecosystem of products and services that are secure, built to work together, supported, and able to grow and pivot as their business needs change.” — Jeff Rogers, CEO
With the company’s rating as the Sacramento Business Journal’s Best Place to Work for four consecutive years, it’s no wonder the employee turnover rate is low and the company culture is positive.
With an office of 30 employees and counting, Rogers says he owes most of the company’s achievements to them.
