On March 6th Social Venture Partners of Sacramento held their 1st annual SVP Fast Pitch. The event took place at UOP McGeorge. Ten nonprofits, all with an educational component to their programming, took the stage to present their 3-minute pitch on impact, innovation, and what they need to take their work to the next level of regional impact.

Winners took home funding and in-kind support totaling more than $25,000. Among those honored included Curt DeBerg, CEO of SAGE Global who received the Judges Award; and Katie McCleary, executive director of 916 Ink who received the Coaches Award and People’s Choice Contest Online Award.
