California Capital Documentary Film Festival 2022

The California Capital International Documentary Film Festival at Rancho Cordova will be the first documentary film festival in the Sacramento Region. Hosted by the California Capital Arts Foundation, this event will feature nonfiction cinematography from around the globe. Curated is an exciting array of film selections for this year’s screenings along with special guests, panels, and Q&A’s.

Anticipate 60 films to be screened over the three-day event featuring a range of subjects. Cal Cap Doc Fest will be a forum to celebrate and promote documentary films, and the independent filmmakers around the world who bring knowledge through their stories about real people and issues.

Note: Film Screenings will take place over three screens at three locations. Rancho Cordova City Hall – Council Chambers, CalCap Black Box Theatre located at the Old Mills Winery in Rancho Cordova, and George Washington Carver School of Arts and Sciences.
