On April 8, 150 of the region’s arts and business leaders gathered at the Warehouse Artist Lofts as Tre Borden and Honey Agency launched Tre Borden / Co.  

Anixter, a global Fortune 500 company with a presence in Sacramento, hosted a panel discussion inviting local architects, developers and city leaders to reconsider how building technology can and should impact the development of downtown Sacramento.

The 45th Annual Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce “Salud” Business Awards Gala was held on Feb. 25. Guests joined the Chamber in recognizing and celebrating this year’s awardees at the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Sacramento. 

On Feb. 2, the Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce celebrated their 24th Annual Installation and Awards Dinner. Regional leaders, community partners, members and elected officials joined the Chamber to celebrate a special evening recognizing the 2017 awardees.

The Sacramento Commercial Real Estate Women held their annual CREW Women of Influence dinner and awards on Feb. 23 at the Sterling Hotel in downtown Sacramento.

With over 280 attendees, from 34 industries, the inaugural Generations Conference 2017 was a huge success. Attendees enjoyed networking and collaboration with other family businesses, while gaining insight on best practices from nationally-recognized family business leaders.

The 19th annual State of Downtown Sacramento Address was held Jan. 25, at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium, in conjunction with the Sacramento Downtown Partnership and with the support of local community and business leaders. 

The Sacramento Children’s Home kicked off its 150th Anniversary Celebration Feb. 1, with a business luncheon at the Golden 1 Center. The luncheon celebrated not only the home’s history, but also the important role Sacramento’s business leaders continue to play in caring for our community’s most vulnerable children and families.

The Sacramento Ballet held a Moroccan-themed fundraiser Jan. 21 at Memorial Auditorium in downtown Sacramento. Contributions from the Gala were given toward funding community arts, performances and outreach programs.
