April Andre and her team at The Collective are experts in furnishing commercial office space and work closely with the architect and design community to achieve clients’ workspace goals. Formerly known as VCO, The Collective’s new name and logo were created after acquiring Office Source and SCI Interiors. The logo is inspired by wood joinery as a metaphor for coming together.
“We are in the business of furniture, so we created a logo that is made of wood joint laps to represent our three companies joining together as one,” April says. Today, The Collective is the largest Teknion dealer in North America and partners with more than 300 other suppliers.
As Regional Vice President, April oversees the Sacramento team, which happens to be all women, from sales representatives to designers to project managers. “We discuss function, style, pricing, timing and offer many choices,” April says. “Taking the time to get to know our clients helps us identify products that make sense for them. Our partnerships with hundreds of suppliers ensures that we provide the best solution to fit each customer’s unique goals and objectives.”
“Behind every project is an amazing relationship and we are very proud that 90 percent of our business is referral-based.”
