Since 1959, Roebbelen Contracting, Inc. has been a true delivery partner and provided clients with the highest level of construction project delivery and exceptional service.
“Our people are motivated to solve the toughest construction problems,” says President and CEO Ken Wenham. “We enjoy engaging with our clients as early as possible in the design process. This allows us to understand their goals early enough to develop construction solutions to ensure their success.”
“When an owner hires Roebbelen, they are buying certainty that their project will be constructed for the price and timeframe promised with best-of-class quality. We are 100% locally owned, so decisions are made quickly with the impact on our community always top of mind.”— Ken Wenham, President and CEO
With Roebbelen’s team of 380, the Sacramento area and beyond are impacted by more than just their services. In 2003, Roebbelen established its Builders 4 Kids foundation to support children’s charities in the area. In 2018, they became a certified Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise and expanded their philanthropic giving to include military families through the Semper Fi & Americas Fund. They support approximately 15 local charities and have donated more than $1 million since 2003.
Roebbelen’s robust internship program employs 15 college interns annually, and the team actively mentors high school students through the Construction Industry Education Foundation Design-Build competition and the Capital College and Career Academy.
With many awards under the company’s belt, including continued recognition as a Sacramento Business Journal Best Place to Work and the 2024 Sacramento Business Journal’s Largest Locally-Owned General Contractor, it’s no wonder business is growing.
“Roebbelen will continue to stay on the cutting edge of technology and the latest construction methods,” Wenham says. “And as we continue to provide the sophistication, resources and reach of a large national firm, we will never lose the spirit, flexibility and fire of a small local one.”
