Bullard Construction, Inc. is honored to have partnered with Hope Cooperative, Stephan Daues Consulting, and Anders and Falltrick Architects on the Powell’s Landing project. As an experienced California-based general contractor with 25 years of experience specializing in affordable housing, our team successfully navigated significant challenges. These included structural footing improvements, replacing an outdated gas boiler with a new heat pump hot-water system, and transforming existing hotel units into permanent supportive housing layouts.
This partnership, built on a shared commitment to community service, was a truly amazing experience. It follows our history of successful affordable housing work, including the first Homekey Project in the Sacramento region at Los Molinos, where Hope Cooperative provides supportive services. We are now collaborating with them on another project, Auburn Oaks, and look forward to its positive impact on the Citrus Heights community.
“Working with Bullard Construction on our Homekey project, Powell’s Landing in Sacramento, has been an outstanding experience. From the very beginning, their team has demonstrated exceptional professionalism, responsiveness, and a true spirit of collaboration. Throughout the remodel process, Bullard Construction went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, often anticipating challenges and offering creative, flexible solutions. Their communication was always timely and transparent, and their commitment to quality workmanship is evident in every detail of the finished project. What stood out most was their genuine compassion and respect for our mission to provide permanent supportive housing and hope for our community. They didn’t treat this as just another construction job, they treated it as a project that changes lives. Their team showed great care and respect for the purpose behind Powell’s Landing. We at Hope Cooperative are deeply grateful for Bullard Construction’s expertise, integrity, and heart. They have been an incredible partner in turning vision into reality, and we look forward to working together again on future community projects.” — Hope Cooperative
