With 11 years in banking, Rodriguez came to Plumas Bank with its 2021 acquisition of Bank of Feather River. Recognizing her skills and talents, Plumas Bank created a role in business development for her. Rodriguez has since grown to support branch operations, new business, and lending duties with a goal of becoming a branch manager and business advisor. She’s also very active with community causes.
As commercial portfolio manager, Karnit Mahal supports ag and business clients from Chico to Sacramento. Backed by 10 years in banking, he joined Plumas Bank last November. Karnit enjoys getting to know his clients and tailoring solutions for their particular projects. Mahal shares, “It’s gratifying to see clients succeed – developing local businesses is my driving force.”
Both bring unique perspectives to understanding the needs of local business owners. Rodriguez was born in Mexico, grew up in Marysville, and is bilingual in English and Spanish. Mahal was born in Yuba City, helped with his family’s Kiwi farm in Gridley, and is bilingual in English and Punjabi.
Plumas Bank invests in its team members with ongoing training, growth opportunities, mentoring and succession planning.
