Since 1892, the Sacramento SPCA has been more than just a shelter

“People know us best for acting as a shelter for animals,” says CEO Jennifer Brent, “but there is so much more to this organization. We are a place whose mission is to provide any and all resources available for pet owners in order to keep them and their furry family together, happy and thriving.”

Education is at the heart of the SSPCA’s mission. Through youth programs, summer camps and school visits, they plant seeds of empathy and responsibility in the next generation.
