The 12th Meeting of the Minds Annual Summit convenes in Sacramento, California with the purpose of spotlighting tools and best practices working for smart city leaders across the globe.
400+ leaders gather each year to build partnerships across sectors and from city-to-city. The event focuses on emerging and tested urban sustainability solutions which are scalable, replicable, and transferable for cities and regions. Discussions are rooted in a deep understanding of technology and equity as key drivers for smart cities.
The Sacramento-Davis region provides an exciting backdrop for the key urban issue areas discussed at the Annual Summit through plenary sessions and workshops: water policy, mobility, EVs, electric bikeshare, parking, downtown and waterfront redevelopment, housing, inclusion and equity, food systems, health, homelessness, climate resiliency, IoT, innovative governance, and more. Workshop tours on the afternoon of November 28th will break all 400+ participants into small groups to explore the region’s neighborhoods and see first-hand how innovations are being developed, implemented, financed, and scaled.
