The Sacramento Mural Fest (SMF) is a week-long event featuring artists from Sacramento and around the world. More than a dozen murals will be painted in our town to activate areas from Downtown to Midtown Sacramento.

Tours, lectures, and conversations about public art, design and murals will take place throughout this week. The festival culminates with ArtJam 2016 an interactive party designed to engage the public in artmaking on Aug. 27.

SMF is produced by Friends of the Arts Commission (Friends) a non-profit organization established in 1977 to support the work of the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission. Proceeds from the festival will benefit arts education.
