Taylor Builders creates and improves communities where individuals, neighborhoods and the environment can thrive for generations to come. Taylor Builders is a part of the Domeyko Taylor Holding Company family of companies led by Clifton Taylor and Isabel Domeyko Taylor.
The company lives by a unique approach of building partnerships in land and puts this into practice by seeking out team members who are deeply connected to the mission, like Vice President of Asset Management Anton Garcia.
Garcia has been with Taylor Builders for six years, implementing some of the Sacramento region’s most critical land assets, including Placer One, Riolo Vineyards, Parkebridge and Homestead.
“These assets shape our future,” says Garcia. “I love doing what I do. Whether it’s partnering with local agencies, homebuilders, contractors, consultants or affordable housing and commercial developers, the ability to work side-by-side with experts in each respective field is inspiring.”
Garcia credits his parents and the way he was raised for providing a solid foundation for managing his favorite project to date, Placer One. Growing up, Garcia’s parents allowed him to problem-solve, which helped him develop the confidence to take educated risks.

A project the size of Placer One brings an atypical set of dynamics that are both exciting and challenging. Collaborative partnerships with Sacramento State, Sierra College and Placer County inspire everyone to explore and push the boundaries of what’s possible. Placer One and the partners it convenes will play a pivotal role in delivering higher education while changing the face of it to meet the region’s workforce demands.
On a more personal note, Garcia earned his degree in economics from Sac State, which means the connection between Sac State and the school’s forthcoming Placer Center campus at Placer One is incredibly meaningful for him.
“You realize we’re all connected and play a significant role in something much larger: creating community,” he says.
