KELLIE DEMARCO COMMUNICATIONS

FINDING JOY & SUCCESS BEYOND THE NEWSROOM

Back Sponsored Mar 5, 2024

In a career that adorned with three Emmy Awards and frontline reporting on pivotal national events, Kellie DeMarco, the former face of KCRA, discovered her true fulfillment after stepping away from the news. “Life on the other side of the evening anchor desk is more joyful than I expected,” she says.

Her transition to entrepreneurship with Kellie DeMarco Communications in late 2019 marked a new era. “Nearly 20 years in journalism and all I wanted was to be an anchor and tell important stories,” she says, expressing gratitude for her time in the field and her deep connection to Sacramento.

Covering national political conventions, breaking news, Super Bowls, and the everyday stories that impacted so many lives, DeMarco learned hard work, time management, creativity, and confidence — even amidst bouts of anxiety. However, she yearned to reclaim precious moments with her daughter and family.

“I have a much better work-life balance now,” she says. “I always follow my North Star, which is only bringing on clients who truly bring me joy!”

“When you lead with a servant’s heart, the rest will follow.”  — Kellie DeMarco, President

This has propelled her thriving media consultancy, where she leverages her journalistic acumen to empower others, whether in media placement and training for businesses, event consulting for nonprofits, emceeing for Sacramento’s largest events, video production and storytelling, or as the host of national financial television shows and an award-winning educational YouTube series.

DeMarco also now offers coaching services to women seeking to shine in the spotlight, whether on camera, on stage, or on Zoom. She’s helped hundreds of women look and feel their best through image consulting, hair and makeup, and presentation preparation.

“When you lead with a servant’s heart, the rest will follow,” she says. “Once my clients find their confidence, it’s priceless to watch them shine in their roles as CEOs, managers, business owners, and mothers.”

As DeMarco’s journey of reinvention continues, she remains dedicated to guiding others toward their brightest potential. The future shines brightly for Kellie DeMarco!
