Gilbert CPAs

Making it 40 years in this life is no easy feat — for people, for relationships, and most certainly for locally owned business — which is what makes Gilbert CPAs’ 40th year in service to the community of Sacramento all the more exciting!

Back Sponsored Jun 28, 2024

Gilbert CPAs stands out in the financial industry for its conscious effort to work with numerous nonprofit clients and organizations whose purpose is to strengthen and uplift the community around them. While many financial firms focus solely on profit margins, Gilbert CPAs has consistently prioritized community impact — a marked testament to their philosophy of giving back.

Keeping that community and their own company community in mind, the firm marked the milestone in a unique way. Rather than hosting an extravagant anniversary party, the company chose to celebrate the occasion by honoring their “culture of caring” by giving back to some
of the amazing nonprofit organizations they’ve worked with for decades. True to their values, the firm chose to give each employee $100 dollars (split into 5 tokens) they could use to donate to the groups that spoke to them the most, equating to thousands of dollars donated to various nonprofits. This approach not only underscores Gilbert CPAs’ commitment to social responsibility, but also highlights the deep-rooted relationships they’ve built within Sacramento.

“The firm’s success is attributable to Gilbert’s culture of caring — for our team, our clients and our community. We have had the good fortune to work with incredible people over the past 40 years. We thank each of them for their impact on our continued success,” says CEO Bobbie Hales.

The firm’s long-standing tenure is a source of immense pride and optimism. Many employees and shareholders have dedicated decades of their careers to Gilbert CPAs, creating a culture of loyalty and shared purpose. One shining example is current tax shareholder Keith Glen, who began his journey with the firm 18 years ago as an intern.

“It’s such a rewarding profession, but it’s made even more rewarding because of the colleagues and relationships that I’ve built here,” he says, noting that he quite literally grew up at Gilbert. “It almost feels cliché to say, but there really is something special about Gilbert’s culture of caring that has been cultivated over the years. It isn’t just words or a motto here. It’s a true frame of mind.”

As Gilbert CPAs celebrates 40 years of service, the firm’s commitment to community engagement and employee development remains as strong as ever. This anniversary is not just a reflection of the past, but also a beacon of optimism for the future. By continuing to invest in their employees and the community, Gilbert CPAs ensures that their impact will be felt for many more decades to come. Here’s to 40 years of excellence and to many more years of making a difference in Sacramento!
