The 19th Annual Komen Sacramento Race for the Cure was held on May 9 at Cal Expo. Thousands gathered to celebrate our community’s breast cancer survivors and pay tribute to those that lost their battles – raising funds and awareness and bringing us one step closer to a cure. The money raised from this fundraising event will go towards supporting community organizations in our 19-county region that provide education, screening and patient support for those that need it most.

The Race for a Cure was a family affair, bringing out thousands of supporters.
