Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento broke ground on its first ever Veteran Home Build on March 23, on Del Paso Blvd in Sacramento. The project was made possible through a $150,000 sponsorship from Health Net Federal Services and will be built with volunteers, as well as 500 hours contributed by the recipient’s family.  The home is expected to be complete shortly before Veterans Day 2018, at which time the family will purchase it from Habitat for a zero percent interest, 30-year mortgage.
