Capital Dance Project, in partnership with the Sacramento Kings and The Kings Foundation, proudly presents Sacramento first-ever Sensory Friendly Dance Performance.
This performance is designed to make everyone, particularly individuals on the autism spectrum, feel comfortable, safe and accepted in a theater environment. Traditional theater rules will be relaxed and audience members are welcome to enter and exit, play with toys, dance and talk during this live dance performance. Together, CDP and the Kings will provide an opportunity for children with special needs and their families to enjoy a theater experience in a climate of understanding, acceptance and inclusion.
