The greater Sacramento Region needs a robust pipeline of highly qualified Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) workers to meet labor market demand. You can help build this pipeline by informing and supporting education and training providers about the needs of the 21st century ICT workforce.
Because your knowledge and expertise in the ICT sector is highly valued, you are cordially invited to participate on a Strong Workforce Regional Advisory Board for ICT.
Membership level on the Regional Advisory Board is flexible to allow your participation in the way that best fits your interests, and more importantly, your calendar!
Please join us on Friday, April 6th for the spring ICT Regional Advisory Board meeting to learn more about Regional Advisory Board membership and determine how you’d like to contribute. The meeting agenda includes discussion of:
- ICT Career Ladder Project
- Apprenticeships for ICT, and other work-based learning opportunities
- New and updated Career Education programs and curriculum approvals
Your contribution on April 6th will help ensure that employers and educators are collaborating to support students in attaining skills and competencies that meet labor market needs for high-skill, high-wage occupations in demand.
High School Teachers that have already conducted or participated in an AC meeting are not required to attend.
